Wine Ratings & Descriptions

Value Grade: A
At less than $20 in most retail stores, this is "right on the money."

Food Friendliness Grade: A
A dinner table merlot. Full-bodied enough for a grilled New York steak, refined enough for elegant, sauced dishes.

Ability to Age Grade: B
Got the stuffing for at least 6-7 more years, but the fruit is much of the charm right now.

Flavor Profile Grade: A
More substantial than many cabernets. Rich black cherry, blueberry, blackberry and mid-palate chocolate undertones.

Additional Notes:
For those few of us still enjoying merlot, here is very, very good one. It's really got it all at under $20. Burgess has been put
